Scope
This data sheet covers the requirement of heat shrinkable anti tracking cable breakouts suitable for 3 core power cables upto 33kv voltage rating for use in termination of cables in indoor & outdoor installations on polymeric & paper insulated cables. The dimensions of breakout shall shrink to a predetermined size upon application of heat above 1250C.

Colour
The standard colour of breakouts is Reddish & Brown.

Typical Application
Heat Shrinkable anti tracking breakouts are manufactured from high quality cross-linked polymer compound that offer exceptional insulation & long term service reliability. The base material of anti tracking breakouts is thermally stabilized polyolefins & compatible grades of synthetic rubbers. These blends together with other chemicals & curing additives are processed under controlled parameter to produce a resultant end product which possess advantageous physical properties, excellent aging stability, resistance against fire, oxidation, ozone, chemicals & other environmental effects. Due to its excellent non-tracking & erosion resistance inbuilt character, these breakouts are used as an integral part of power cable termination kits for Indoor & ,outdoor applications. These breakouts provide a positive environmental seal to the cable crutch. These breakouts are supplied with or without coating of mastic which is electrical insulating, water proof & anti tracking in properties.
